Jaxon Buell came into this world with a rare brain malformation known as microhydranencephaly. Born with only 20 percent of his brain and missing a significant portion of his skull, his journey was not an easy one. But it was a miracle, not only because he survived with anencephaly but also because of his parents’ unconditional love.
This encompasses the ethical obligation of healthcare professionals to refrain from labeling a child as “incompatible with life.” It is not within their purview to make such declarations.
